What Can You Do To Help?

Don't litter. Set a good example and put litter in its place. Teach others not to litter.
Keep your property clean. Clean up litter.
Don't let your trash become someone else's litter. Bag your trash properly.
Take the Don't Trash Allentown pledge.
Plant flowers, a tree or care for a tree well.
Recycle right - cans and bottles in the green bin, mixed color paper, magazines, newspapers, etc. in the blue.
Report neighbors who put trash out early (before 5 p.m. or on the wrong day) or carelessly to the Hotline.
Report messy collection by the trash and recycling hauler to the Hotline.
Report graffiti to the Hotline.
Report overflowing trash dumpsters to the Hotline.
Report overflowing litter baskets to the Hotline.
Don't dump chemicals, motor oil, anti-freeze, or paint anywhere. Call the Hotline for information on proper disposal.
Report abandoned shopping carts to the store for pickup. Report broken carts to the Hotline.
Report highway littering to the Pennsylvania Litterbug Hotline, 1-888-litterbug.
