Please Call to Volunteer April 19, 2008 Join the Great Allentown Cleanups - Please volunteer by calling Allentown Recycling at 610-437-8729 - Individuals, neighbors, businesses, churches, and community groups are encouraged to organize a clean up in Allentown neighborhoods and parks. Call for cleanup supplies, for more information, or to clean up anytime throughtout the year! Adopt-A-Block – individuals, neighbors, businesses, churches and community groups are encouraged to adopt, clean and beautify the block where they live, work etc on an ongoing basis. The Bureau of Recycling & Solid Waste will provide cleanup supplies and recognize your group with a Mayor’s Recognition Certificate to display. Please call 610-437-8729. “Bloomin’ Allentown” - The City of Allentown is digging in with the Allentown Garden Club to make our community more beautiful, and you can help. The “Bloomin’ Allentown” initiative will bring patches of color to neighborhoods and intersections throughout the city. Volunteer now to bring this interactive approach to your neighborhood with native, perennial plantings that will brighten the City with color, birds and butterflies.
