School Recycling:
Allentown
public and private schools are required to recycle:
 |
paper |
 |
aluminum cans |
 |
cardboard |
 |
yard waste |
 |
steel cans |
 |
#1 and #2 plastic
bottles |
 |
glass bottles
and jars |
Schools have lots
of paper to recycle. It is best to have a paper recycling bin next to
each trash can and containers for cans and bottles in cafeterias and vending
machine areas throughout the school. The Allentown School District has
blue paper recycling bins for each classroom and office.
Check
to see if your cafeteria has recycling bins for aluminum cans and plastic
bottles.
