FREE Green and Blue recycling bins are supplied by the City and must be used for curbside collection. Recycle right!

METAL RECYCLING

Did you know that appliances and metal items have been part of Allentown's recycling program for many years? The items go to Liberty Recycling in Allentown for scrap metal recycling.

APPLIANCE RECYCLING IS EASY!
Call the Bureau of Recycling & Solid Waste at
610-437-8729 to schedule collection for your appliance and large metal items.

Freon appliances (refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers) require a $20 disposal fee that must be paid prior to collection. Make checks payable to the City of Allentown. Mail to Bureau of Recycling & Solid Waste, 1400 Martin Luthor King, Jr. Drive, Allentown, Pa 18102.

   

YARD WASTE &
CHRISTMAS TREES

Allentown has weekly curbside collection of yard trimmings from early April until Thanksgiving week and Christmas tree collection in January.
