TRASH LIMITS:
On your FIRST trash night of the week (Sun, Mon or Tues) your are allowed:
5 bags of trash (40 lbs. max. each) OR 2 trash cans (70 lbs. max. each)

On your SECOND trash night of the week (Wed, Thurs or Fri) your are allowed:
bullet 5 bags of trash (40 lbs. max. each) OR 2 trash cans (70 lbs. max. each)
bullet 1 bulk item (furniture, mattress & box spring, carpeting, etc.) OR 40 lbs. max. of
  contained construction material (lumber, drywall, sheet rock, etc.)

SWEEP Tickets Issued for Violations
PUT TRASH & RECYCLING OUT BETWEEN 6:00 PM AND 10:00 PM ONLY ON YOUR DESIGNATED NIGHTS.
TRASH & BINS must be placed in front of your property for collection.
NO LOOSE OR MESSY TRASH. Trash must be in bags or cans and within the limits.
NO TRASH IN BOXES. Boxes must be recycled.
NO tires, liquid paint or hazardous wastes.

Keep Your Property Clean!
Property owners are responsible for the condition of their property.
Trash and/or debris may not accumulate on the exterior of your property.
bullet Litter must be cleaned and removed from your property, sidewalks and tree wells.

Reuse: donate fixable, reusable items to the RE PLACE and thrift shops.

Do Not Put These In Your Trash!

Hazardous Wastes: Paints, chemicals, pesticides, and other toxic, corrosive, flammable or reactive materials are not permitted in the trash.

   
 
Call Lehigh County, 610-782-3046 for info.
   
Needles: No loose needles in the trash or recycling bin. Put in a closed laundry detergent bottle and throw bottle in the trash.
   
Car Batteries, Tires, Motor Oil, and Anti-freeze: Some service stations accept. Call the Hotline. Do not pour oil down the drain or sewer.
